Danielle Keever is a watercolor artist living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is a member of the American Watercolor Society, Watercolor Society of North Carolina, and Associated Artists of Winston Salem. She has recently exhibited her collection of Winston-Salem paintings and will be a featured artist at the Sawtooth Artists Market this year. Her painting, “The Early Bird”, was accepted into the 2022 WSNC Annual juried exhibition and is now a part of the traveling exhibit at the Durham Arts Council.

Danielle has a distinctive style of painting that involves multiple layers of transparent watercolor. Throughout this layering process, she preserves the lightest values as she progresses. The result is a detailed and realistic, yet still whimsical, depiction of the original image. Most of her paintings use only 3 primary colors, yet with her unique technique the colors blend together to form a wide array of gorgeous hues.
